We have had a wonderful first day here at Fifth Avenue! We enjoyed meeting all parents and friends over the last few days and have been having a great day welcoming back our fifth graders and getting to know all our new third and fourth graders.
Our dismissal today is outlined below. These procedures will be in place for the 2019-2020 school year. Please note that all third graders will be escorted by a teacher until further notice.
- 2:45 - Car riders and bus riders are dismissed. We will dismiss 3rd grade bus riders a few minutes before 4th and 5th graders.
- 2:50 - Whiz Kids are dismissed.
- After all buses are loaded, walkers and bike riders are dismissed. 3rd grade walkers will be escorted to their meet-up space at the marquis/flag pole area.
- All aftercare buses will be called as they arrive. Any aftercare bus riders that have not been dismissed by the time walkers are dismissed will wait in the cafeteria until their transportation arrives.
