Their freshman year was interrupted by Covid-19, but 128 students persisted in completing all requirements for at least one Diploma Programme course in 2022-23, including 19 (italicized) who were IB Diploma Candidates. We are proud of our students. Fourteen earned IB Diplomas, most of the 128 earned college credits, and all go on to the next stage of their educations with some great preparation to succeed.
The second list shows our scholarship winners. While we had several outstanding nominees, Jennifer Chan was chosen as Inderkum's DP Student of the Year for her outstanding scholastic achievements and her contributions to the community, both near and far. Funds for his award came from the California Association of IB World Schools (CAWS). Our very own Inderkum IB Committee was able to present $10,000 of scholarships to thirteen students. This year, a significant portion of those funds were donated by Tiffany and Kyle Barba Camposano, alumni of our first IB Class of 2016.
Seniors complete a survey for me yearly. Most gave permission to share their next destination. Finally, even though each can only enroll in one, the list of colleges and universities where they were accepted is quite impressive and will give you a sense of Tigers' aspirations.
I realize the names may be hard to read. Don't forget that you can zoom in on your screen.
