South MS Friday Blast

This week was another lively and eventful one as the holiday season draws near! A big thank you to Miss Krall and her talented choir members for their beautiful performance at the Perkasie Tree Lighting last Saturday evening. Their voices truly brought the holiday spirit to life.

Our Spirit Day theme was “Twin Day,” and it was wonderful to see everyone pair up with a buddy to match outfits. The halls were bursting with creativity as students showcased their festive designs in the Holiday Door Decorating Contest, all vying for the coveted title of 2025 Holiday Door Decorating Champion!

Students also had the chance to explore their artistic side during the after-school Holiday Maker Space hosted by Mrs. Scholz. Finally, on Thursday night, our building was filled with the joyful sounds of the season during the Band & Orchestra concerts—an outstanding performance led by Mrs. Apple and Mrs. Keifer.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

On Friday, South Student Council held its annual Pajama Day benefitting Children's Hospital of Philadelphia . Thanks to the generous donations of our students and their families, we raised $634.95!! Way to go South!

Our choir lit up the night with an incredible performance at the Perkasie Tree Lighting, filling the air with the sounds of the season!

Thank you to Pennridge juniors and seniors who hosted the NOVA presentation here at South.
