Character SOAR Recipients – 1st Six Weeks
We would like to take a moment to recognize a very special group of students—our Character SOAR Recipients for this six weeks!
These students were nominated by their teachers for consistently demonstrating the character qualities we value in our school—being responsible, respectful, trustworthy, caring, and setting a positive example for others. From those nominations, our leadership team selected the students who best represented what it means to SOAR.
We are incredibly proud of these students and the character they demonstrate each day. They remind us that true leadership starts with who you are and how you treat others.
Congratulations to our Character SOAR Recipients! We are proud of you! 🦅
❤️📚 GO RED FOR DYSLEXIA AWARENESS! 📚❤️
Last Thursday, our Hillsboro Eagles students and staff wore RED in honor of Dyslexia Awareness Day! ❤️🦅 We’re proud to raise awareness, celebrate the unique strengths of individuals with dyslexia, and remind everyone that different ways of learning can lead to incredible things!
💡 DID YOU KNOW? Dyslexia affects the way the brain processes written language, but it has nothing to do with intelligence! People with dyslexia have a wide range of talents and abilities, and with the right support, they can thrive in school and beyond. 🌟
Today, and every day, we celebrate our students’ differences, encourage one another, and make sure every Eagle knows they have the potential to soar! 🦅❤️
A big THANK YOU to everyone who wore red to help spread awareness and show support! ❤️
Different learners. Bright futures. One Eagle family! 💛

🍩💛 A Little Sweetness Goes a Long Way! 💛🍩
Our Hillsboro High School Student Council celebrated World Teachers’ Day on October 5th by showing our amazing teachers a little extra love and appreciation! 🍎✨ Teachers were treated to donuts, juice, and the most precious smiles from our students. 🥰
Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. A sweet treat, a kind gesture, and a smiling face are just what we need to stay positive, feel appreciated, and keep showing up for our students every day! ❤️
A HUGE thank-you to our Student Council for spreading kindness and reminding our teachers just how much they matter. And to our incredible HHS teachers, thank you for all you do to help our Eagles soar! 🦅💛
