Georgia Brown Facilities Master Planning Community Meeting
Dear Families,
If you have thoughts about our current and future facilities needs at Georgia Brown we want to hear from you! The Facilities Master Planning process is underway across the District, with each school holding meetings to gather community input. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Georgia Brown facilities for current and future generations of Tigers.
The Georgia Brown community meeting will be lead by 19six Architects as follows:
When: December 2, at 3:00 PM
Where: Georgia Brown Multipurpose Room
Who: Staff, Families, Friends, and Neighbors of Georgia Brown Elementary
Families, we’d love to hear from you.
Our district is in the middle of its Facilities Master Planning process—the long-term roadmap that helps shape the learning spaces our students use every single day. From classrooms and outdoor areas to upgrades and future improvements, your insight truly helps guide what comes next.
We know it’s hard to make it to evening meetings, which is why we asked our architects to create a short survey so every family can share their ideas in a way that fits their schedule. If there’s something you’ve always wished your child’s school had, or a need you’ve noticed on campus, this is a wonderful chance to make sure your voice is part of the conversation.
Your feedback really does make a difference, and we don’t want to move forward without hearing from as many families as possible.
Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts:

Thank you for helping us imagine and build the future of our schools together.

PTO News
Fifth grade is still raising funds for Science Camp by selling tickets to a Yeti Cooler filled with lots of local gift cards and goods. Are you able to help the 5th graders get to camp? Purchase your ticket(s) using the QR code for a chance to win. We are 25% of our goal of $60k! Help us make it happen for this once in a lifetime experience for our Tigers! Last day to purchase is December 12th.
*5th Grade Parents* Thanksgiving break is a great time to hit up extended family and neighbors. Please help your child sell their packet of tickets, and remember all sold and unsold tickets need to be returned by December 12th.
Thank you the PREA for your donation to science camp! Your support is greatly appreciated.
Our next PTO meeting will be on Thursday, December 11th at 5:30 in the library. Hope to see you there!

Birthday Celebrations
Thank you for wanting to celebrate your student. We love to celebrate each child! Please consider the following suggestions when planning to bring in a treat for your student’s birthday:
- Some students in the class may have allergies, so bringing edible treats can unintentionally exclude them from participating.
- Please contact the teacher before bringing in treats to confirm they are safe and appropriate for the class.
- Some grade levels have a designated day each month for celebrations.
We appreciate your thoughtfulness and cooperation in helping make celebrations inclusive for everyone.
