We are looking at different ways to communicate with the school community to ensure there is a useful flow of information to students and parents/ carers. At present, our main social media platform of use is X (Twitter); however, we are reviewing whether there are alternatives which might be preferable.

We have created a short questionnaire to find out your preference which will take 1 minute to complete. The information gathered will not be shared but will help inform any decisions we make. The questionnaire can be accessed via https://forms.gle/djHQ3wVrj5k2n4mB9

At the end of this term, we will be moving away from using SIMS to a different Management Information System called Bromcom. This is very exciting for the school and the Trust as it will bring significant benefits for our teachers, staff and parents. Over the next few weeks, we will provide updates to you about the changes and how you can access and use the Bromcom app.

Tip of the Week: Power Up with Spinach!

Spinach is a superfood packed with iron, calcium, and vitamins A, C, and K. These nutrients are essential for young girls as they support bone growth, boost energy levels, and help maintain healthy skin and hair. It is also high in antioxidants, which help fight stress and fatigue.

Challenge of the Week: Add Spinach to Your Plate!

This week, try adding spinach to at least one meal. Toss it in a smoothie, add it to a sandwich, or mix it into pasta or an omelette for a nutrient boost!

It is the Chinese Lunar New Year on Thursday and this marks the change from the Year of the Dragon to the Year of the Snake. The Festival of Lunar New Year lasts up to 15 days and is celebrated with new clothes, gifts of money, special food; and parades - including dragon and lion dances. On the last day, there are often fireworks and beautiful lantern displays.

From all at FBA, we say Xīnnián hǎo and Gōngxǐ fācái to all those celebrating Chinese New Year. We hope everything is on the up and up for you this year.
