Parent Update - August 2026
Some thoughts for the starting school year
Dear School Families,
Welcome back to a brand-new school year! We are filled with immense joy and anticipation as we prepare to open our doors and classrooms once again. We have missed the energy, smiles, and laughter of our students, and we cannot wait to see how much they have grown over the summer months.
This year holds beautiful promise for our community. As a team, we are deeply committed to walking alongside your children, guiding them not just academically, but supporting them as they grow in faith, wisdom, and grace. Together, we look forward to nurturing their hearts and souls, strengthening our community bond, and discovering God’s purpose for each student.
We know the anticipation of finding out who your child's teacher will be is growing! Please note that student class assignments will be officially available in the FACTS portal this coming Monday, August 10.
Thank you for your continued partnership, prayers, and trust in us. We are praying for a blessed, safe, and transformative school year for every family.
Blessings,
Mr. Kaufhold and Ms. Flanagan

Important Communications and Admissions Updates
Over the past several years, Holy Trinity has been blessed with significant growth in student admissions. To build on this momentum, Cheryl Roche will dedicate her time and talents to expanding and strengthening our admissions program. We are grateful for Cheryl’s passion in sharing the vision and mission of Holy Trinity, and we look forward to all she will accomplish in this important role.
As part of this transition, Cheryl will step away from her responsibilities for the school newsletter, social media, and parent communications. Stepping into the communications role for the Avon Catholic Community is Julie Short, who will work for both Holy Trinity and Saint Mary schools. A dedicated member of Holy Trinity Parish for the past 27 years, Julie is excited to serve the parish community by sharing its mission, ministries, and stories of faith.

We’d love your help making this an amazing year at Holy Trinity! If you’re interested in serving on a PTU committee, please review the options in the sign up for any that interest you. We currently have three board members and are looking for one or two more. We also need volunteers for several year-round and single-event committees.
