AP Testing Information
Is your student enrolled in an AP course?
Students must join AP Classroom for each AP class they are enrolled in. Students are responsible for all exam costs. By joining AP Classroom, an exam will automatically be ordered. Past due fees will be noted as obligations on your account which may impact the ability to participate in other paid for school activities such as prom.
After November 14th, a $40 late fee will be added to any exam ordered. Students will be responsible for a $40 cancellation fee should you drop the class or choose to not take the exam after November 14th.
The AP Coordinator is Mrs. Squitieri. She will be communicating with AP students and families regularly regarding the fees for this year, how & when to pay, and other important testing information. Her email is jsquitieri@ridgefieldps.net should you have any questions.
UCONN/ECE Registration Information

🐯Stay in the Loop!🐯
9th Grade
By the end of September, all 9th graders will have met with their counselor in small informal groups during flex. Counselors shared resources in the building, as well as ways to get involved!
10th Grade
Our 10th graders recently completed the Naviance Career Cluster Finder inventory. Students can use this quick assessment to link their interests and skills to career clusters.
The results (sample shown below) give students a great starting point for thinking about their future and making informed decisions about their classes. We encourage you to chat with your student about their results and check out the resources on Naviance together.
11th Grade
In Advisory, all Juniors completed AchieveWorks Personality, an assessment that helps students identify their personality type by asking them to choose scenarios that best represent how they behave in real life. Based on their responses, students receive a report (pictured below) and recommendations that can help narrow down potential job shadowing opportunities, elective courses, and college majors.
Stay tuned for information about our Junior Parent Night in December!
11th and 12th Grade
