A Message from the Principal, Dr. Nadjarian

Dear Families,

We had a beautiful Holy Thursday morning prayer today with Father Jonathan. Our students prayed together and sang beautifully.

During the prayer, Father Jonathan invited our Art and Theology teacher, Ms. Stawowczyk, to share about the artistic design she hand-painted onto the Paschal candle. She explained the thoughtful details incorporated into her work, including the Holy Spirit at the top, symbolizing that the Holy Spirit is always with us; the Alpha and Omega in Greek, representing that Christ is the beginning and the end; and Saint Francis of Assisi, in celebration of Pope Leo XIV's proclamation of this special Franciscan Jubilee year. Please see the pictures below showcasing Ms. Stawowczyk’s beautiful work, as well as our students and families admiring it. We are so proud of her work, it is truly a blessing to our St. Mary’s community.

Have a blessed Triduum and a happy Easter!

Easter Service Project

On Tuesday, students in grades K1-8 participated in our Easter service project. They visited elderly parishioners in the neighborhood and delivered flowers, cookies, and a card. Students loved getting to chat with the neighbors, including some St. Mary's alumni! They were all thrilled to get a visit from the students. A huge thank you to our Pre-K and Grade 5 students for creating the beautiful cards that were delivered by our K1–8 students. We also extend our sincere thanks to our parent volunteers for calling neighbors and coordinating the delivery time for our students.
