Superintendent's Weekly Update

Weymouth Public Schools - March 11, 2022

Superintendent'sWeekly UpdateWeymouth Public Schools - March 11, 2022

Dear Weymouth Public Schools' Families,

It was a positive and productive week across the district for our students and staff as we took the time to check in with our school community through several community forums and informational sessions, and held professional development opportunities for our staff.

For those of you who had the opportunity to come out to discuss the future of the Abigail Adams facility, and learn more about the new Maria Weston Chapman Middle School, I wanted to take a moment to personally say thank you for attending and offering your input. District and school administrators continue to review, analyze, and discuss the best possible options for our entire district for the short and long term.

Last night I had the opportunity to share a few highlights from our schools at the School Committee meeting, and I thought including them in this week's message to families would be a great way to share some of the exceptional work happening throughout the district. You can find the highlights and photos from a few of our schools below.

Have a great weekend. and we'll see you next week Wildcats!

Best Regards,
Robert Wargo

Superintendent

Hamilton benefited from Weymouth Sergeant Pompeo’s Visit, and a generous donation which has already helped the school purchase some newly released novels!

  • Wildcart Cheer Students in Mrs. Culhane’s room have a weekly coffee cart and treats for staff. Every Friday, our friends from 008 deliver happiness!
