💡HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE GLEN
MGES Field Day 2026
MGES students enjoyed an incredible Field Day this week filled with fun, laughter, and excitement! Thanks to the outstanding planning and organization of Ms. Gerhart, students participated in a variety of engaging activities throughout the day that kept everyone active and smiling.
The event concluded with the recognition of our classroom winners, exciting relay races, spirited tug-of-war competitions, and several crowd-favorite teacher-versus-student games. A special highlight for our 5th-grade students was a surprise visit from the Upper Dublin Fire Department, who helped everyone cool off with a refreshing spray from the fire hose. Even Ms. Gerhart joined in the fun, helping hose down students and creating a memorable ending to a fantastic day!
We extend our sincere appreciation to our parent volunteers, dedicated staff members, and amazing students for making this year's Field Day such a tremendous success. The memories made will be cherished for years to come. A special thank you to Ms. Gerhart for her leadership, creativity, and countless hours of planning that made this event possible.
UDHS Class of 2026
This week, Maple Glen Elementary proudly welcomed back many of our former Chipmunks for our annual Senior Walk. Dressed in their caps and gowns, these graduating seniors returned to the halls where their educational journey began, greeted by cheering students and staff. Many of these students have remained connected to MGES through service projects and volunteer work over the years, making their return even more meaningful.
Seeing our former students ready to embark on their next chapter was both inspiring and rewarding. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and congratulate the Class of 2026 on this important milestone. We wish them continued success and happiness in all of their future endeavors. Once a Chipmunk, always a Chipmunk!
A Lasting Legacy at MGES
We are excited to announce the completion of our beautiful new mural at Maple Glen Elementary! Created by former Chipmunks and talented artists Jonny B., Demi S., and Madison F., the mural serves as a vibrant celebration of our school community and spirit. This stunning piece of artwork will inspire students, staff, and visitors for years to come while serving as a reminder of the lasting connection our alumni have with MGES. We extend our sincere thanks to Jonny, Demi, and Madison for sharing thier creativity and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations of Chipmunks to enjoy.
