Rhino Ramblings
October 2025

From the Executive Director's Desk
Dear Families,
As we enter the Thanksgiving season, we're deeply grateful for ACA, our families, and the opportunity to learn in this environment. It's a blessing we cherish, and we're thankful to work with your students each day!
October was a busy month! We loved meeting everyone during parent conferences and discussing student progress. It’s exciting to see growth in academics and character development. Thank you for supporting your students' growth! Follow us on Facebook for more pictures, and enjoy some more below from October activities.
November has only three full weeks of school due to the Thanksgiving break. Extended Care will also be closed. We're excited to welcome Veterans whom students want to invite for lunch on November 11. Additionally, we have a family event on the evening of November 14, which is a perfect time to invite families interested in ACA. We hope to see you all there. Sign up for these events below. On November 18, we’ll take 2nd-10th graders on a field trip to the Museum of the Bible. This experience will definitely bring the Bible alive for students.
Our Music Club is preparing a delightful presentation for December 4 at 6:00 PM at Crossroads Baptist Church. In addition to the club, preschool students will sing, and some Upper School students hope to lead us in Christmas praise. Save the date and join us, inviting grandparents, aunts, uncles, and anyone needing Christmas cheer.
We’re thrilled to announce our Winter Basketball and Cheer league with Upward Sports, with games in January and February. More details are below. Please share the registration link with homeschool families or others interested in joining. Practices and games will be at Crossroads Baptist Church once a week, and we're looking for coaches and referees. If interested, consider joining us!
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to share a meaningful verse from Philippians 1:3-4: "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Our staff prays for our families, thankful that God has brought us together this year. We covet your prayers too. Looking forward to seeing you in November and wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving season!
In Him,
Mrs. Howdyshell
