Eagle Update

We have almost made it to Spring Break!

Tomorrow, we will be ending the week with a Dress Like a Tourist Spirit Day! Students can feel free to wear souvenir attire from their favorite place or put on a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses - whatever students would want to wear when they are heading out on vacation.

Remember that students will have an extra day and return on March 31. This provides our staff the day to participate in professional learning prior to students coming back.

I hope everyone enjoys the opportunity to recharge and get ready for the final push of the 25-26 school year! We have a lot of exciting activities and events in the upcoming months. Have a wonderful break!

Your child has created art for our school’s Square 1 Art Fundraiser. You may purchase your child’s art on quality, custom keepsakes. Every order raises funds for Archer Glen Elementary. Coming home in Friday folders this week will be your child's custom catalog for the Square 1 Art fundraiser. Get a head start and start ordering keepsakes and gifts featuring your child's art online now, if you like. Search for your child's art using Art Search, and enter Oregon, Archer Glen Elementary, and your student's name. Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order! Order by: 3/31/2026

We are excited to announce Archer Glen's SECOND ANNUAL International Culture Night to celebrate the many diverse cultures that represent who we are as a community. We would be so happy if you would be willing to share with us your heritage and culture! This year the date will be April 14th! Last year, this event was a huge success and many people attended to celebrate our diversity! We would love families to share their culture through craft, food, artifacts, dance, pictures, etc. to enjoy and experience the many wonderful cultures that make up our school! Please return the form sent home in your child's Friday folder if you are interested. Extra forms are also available in the office.

Looking for the perfect start for your little learner? We have just a couple of spots remaining in our Middleton Half-Day Pre-K program for the 2026–2027 school year! Our program is designed for children who will be 4 or 5 years old by September 1, 2026, and is led by certified teachers using research-based curricula to provide a strong academic and social foundation.

We follow the Sherwood School District calendar, operating daily from 7:55 AM-11:00 AM for just $475/month. Students are fully integrated into our school community, enjoying school-wide events like the Fun Run and assemblies, plus access to the library and "Specials" like STEM, Music, and PE. Don't wait-these final spots will go quickly!

The District welcomes volunteers into our school buildings. All volunteers will need to complete and have an approved background check on file prior to volunteering (this must be renewed each school year). The background check process can take 7-10 business days, so please allow sufficient processing time if you are planning to volunteer for a specific event.

If you are looking for volunteer opportunities at Archer Glen, please sign up using HelpCounter . If you are new to Archer Glen you will need to create a new login. ALL parents will need to fill out their information again as the system gets updated each fall. The registration will ask some questions about volunteer preferences, please answer the questions and select all activities you might be interested in learning more about!
