Lunch Reminders
From the Principal's Desk....
Lunch Reminder
A couple of reminders for all families:
If your child brings cold lunch to school, please avoid sending soda, coffee, or energy drinks in the lunch. Per the Elementary Handbook....
Drinks
Drinks such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Rock Star, Monster, Red Bull drinks or coffee drinks are not allowed. These will be put aside and parents called to pick them up if they have not been opened. If they are opened they will be discarded and another drink option will be offered. Red Bull and other drinks can contain about 13 teaspoons of sugar and/or caffeine of 2 cups of coffee. Children get a brief high followed by a low that is not supportive of learning.
Also, If your child brings a cold lunch, please be sure to pack any needed condiments and silverware with it. Our lunch program only includes the cost of condiments and silverware for students that purchase a lunch.
Thank you for your continued support!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
If you are participating in the Thankful and Grateful Chili Luncheon next week, please be aware that students will be charged as usual, however, you will not be allowed to charge meals to your student account.
We will not have the ability to look up the status of the students to see if they are paid, free, or reduced. Because of this, we cannot charge full meal prices to accounts that may belong to students who qualify for free or reduced meals.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we ensure compliance with USDA meal program regulations.
Thank you for supporting our school nutrition program!

Help Us Build More Play Space at Willow Creek!
With our growing number of students, we’re working hard to raise funds for an additional playground area — because every child deserves room to play, move, and have fun! 🛝
Here’s how you can help — at no extra cost to you:
✅ Download the Box Tops for Education app and link your Walmart account. Every eligible purchase automatically earns money for our school!
✅ Join “Inspiring Donations” through the Smith’s app and select Willow Creek Elementary as your chosen organization.
Every scan and every grocery trip helps bring us closer to a new place for our Wolves to play! 💜🐾
