Tambark CreekPrincipal NewsletterJanuary 2025

Tambark Creek Elementary principal newsletter.

From the Principal’s Desk – December 2025

Dear Tambark Creek Families,

Happy Holidays to all! As we welcome the month of December, the colder and wetter weather has definitely arrived. Please be sure your child comes to school with appropriate outerwear for the season. A warm, waterproof jacket with a hood is essential for outdoor recess and arrival/dismissal times.

Our Lost and Found is overflowing. We encourage families to stop by and check for any missing coats, sweatshirts, hats, or gloves before December 17. After this date, we will repurpose remaining uniform items and donate outerwear to our local Goodwill.

A reminder that Tambark Creek is a uniform school. Students are expected to wear approved uniform colors each day:

  • Khaki or navy pants, shorts, or skirts

  • Navy or white shirts

  • Sweatshirts worn throughout the school day must be in uniform colors with small logos only

  • Coats and hats are worn only during arrival, recess, and dismissal, not inside the building

We are excited to announce Winter Spirit Week, taking place December 15–19. Our Student Council selected a fun lineup of themes:

  • Cozy Day

  • Grinch Day

  • Winter Wonderland Day

  • Read by the Fire Day

  • Holiday Dress Day

Please see the flyer for more details about each day.

As we move into this festive season, I want to wish each of you the happiest of holidays and a healthy, peaceful New Year. Thank you for your continued support of our students and school community.

Warmly,

Mrs. O'Connor-Weaver
