Parent Newsletter - September 5, 2025
From the Principals Desk
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope everyone is enjoying the school year so far! We are off to a great start, and it has been such a joy to see our students learning, growing, and building connections.
This month, we would like to begin a new tradition of recognizing our incredible staff. Each month, parents will have the opportunity to nominate staff members who have made a positive impact—whether academically or emotionally—on their child for the YES!! Award. This is a wonderful way for you to partner with us in celebrating the hard work and dedication of our teachers and staff.
If you would like to recognize a teacher or staff member, please take a moment to fill out the form linked below by Wednesday, September 10th. Your words of appreciation go a long way in encouraging and uplifting our staffulty.
Together, we will continue to make a lasting impact on our community.
Sincerely,
Andrew Hohman
Principal, Young Elementary

Shoes That Fit Fundraiser
A message from Coach Harrison!
Help us ensure every child comes to school with confidence and comfort! Many students in our community lack properly fitting shoes, which impacts their ability to learn, play, and thrive. By supporting our Shoes That Fit Fundraiser, you’ll provide new, well-fitting shoes to children who need them most. Together, we can make sure no child is held back by something as simple as shoes.
Every dollar makes a difference—thank you for helping us change lives, one pair at a time!
