A Great Start at Glenham!
A message from Ms. Orser...
It has been a wonderful start to the school year at Glenham! We are so proud of how our students and staff have jumped right into our routines and expectations.
As part of our New York State emergency preparedness requirements, we conduct a variety of emergency drills throughout the school year. Today was our first fire drill, and our students and staff did an excellent job! With beautiful weather and everyone working together, the drill went smoothly. These drills are an important part of making sure our Glenham Tigers know how to respond safely and confidently in an emergency.
This week, we also focused on Other People’s Mindset as part of our Positivity Project. Students spent time thinking about how others may feel, recognizing different perspectives, and understanding how our words and actions can impact those around us.
We are also happy to report that arrival and dismissal have been going very smoothly! Thank you to all of our families for your patience, flexibility, and cooperation as we establish our routines for the year.
You may have noticed that bus routes have changed quite a bit this year. Transportation has been working to adjust routes to make the process as efficient and safe as possible for all of our Glenham Tigers. We appreciate everyone's patience as we continue to fine-tune these routines.
Thank you for helping us make it such a positive start to the school year! We are looking forward to a great year together!
