As parents, we've all asked our children, "How was school today?" or "What did you learn?" only to be met with the classic response, "Nothing." Curriculum Night is your opportunity to finally get real answers to those questions! So MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR OCTOBER 7, 5:30PM.
Curriculum Night is for parents only.
Some things you may see are:
the tools your child is using in class
academic expectations
behavior expectations
assessments and goal tracking
online programs, books, and content being utilized
how your child's teacher grades and communicates between school and home
homework policies
Also, now that your students have completed all of their beginning-of-the-year assessments, and you've received copies of their results... this is the perfect time to hear what all those numbers and educational jargon actually mean!
Curriculum Night is meant to bridge the home–school partnership, and the time also counts toward your volunteer hours!
