Rowayton Elementary School

We are excited to celebrate the season with our annual Pumpkin Parade on Friday, October 30 at 10:00am. Students will parade around the blacktop and driveway circle before gathering on the blacktop for a special surprise performance. Families are invited to join us and cheer on our students. A map with viewing areas and the route will be shared before the parade.

Students may come dressed in a costume, orange and black, or other fall-inspired attire. Costumes are optional.

A few reminders: Please avoid scary masks or costumes and do not send any accessories that resemble weapons. Students can come to school in costumes, but masks and accessories should remain in backpacks or bags until the parade. Students should be able to independently remove their costumes, and have a labeled bag to place them in. Students will participate in the rest of the regular school day so costumes should be comfortable to keep on or please pack an easy change of clothes. We can't wait to celebrate a fun and festive fall afternoon together!

Kindergarten families: Your child’s teacher will send a separate message with additional information for the day.

Thank you to everyone who surprised Elvis and Mrs. Saunders with a gift or treat from his wishlist. There are some items that Elvis needs just for his environment and health. Those items are prioritized in this updated list. If you can gift Elvis with any of these, he would be very grateful!
