Welcome our new SRO
Frisco ISD has a long-standing partnership with local police departments to ensure students can focus on their studies in a safe environment. At Lebanon Trail High School, we are thankful for Student Resource Officer Randall Adams.
Officer Adams is a native Texan and comes from a long line of public servants and represents the fifth generation in his family to serve in law enforcement. When not at work, Officer Adams enjoys spending time with his family and watching his children play sports. Officer Adams has been with Frisco PD since 2011 and we are excited to welcome him to Trail Blazer Nation.

Best Buddies is proud to announce our annual LT Trunk or Treat event! This year it is happening on Wednesday, October 29th from 5:30 - 7 pm in the cafeteria. Cybersecurity Awareness Month
Throughout October, we’ll share tips to help you stay safe online and protect your personal information. Cybersecurity is like a digital shield—just as you lock your front door to keep your home safe, strong online habits protect your digital life from threats.
This week’s focus: Phishing
Phishing is when scammers try to trick you into clicking harmful links or opening attachments that can steal your information or infect your device. These scams often look convincing, but you can protect yourself by being cautious:
Legitimate organizations will never ask for personal information by email, text, or phone.
Watch for red flags like urgent or emotional messages, suspicious links, or requests for sensitive info.
If a message seems off, don’t click, don’t reply—just delete it. When in doubt, ask a trusted adult or organization for help.
Stay alert, protect your information, and help keep our community safe online!
Parent Teacher Conferences
Texas law now requires that parents be offered two opportunities each year for in-person conferences with their child’s teacher(s).
You may request a conference before the Quarter 2 IPR (week of Oct. 27) and again before the Quarter 3 IPR (week of Jan. 20).
Please contact your child’s teacher directly to schedule a convenient time.
We encourage you to take part in these meetings to support your child’s success.

Congratulations to our Lebanon Trail High School NJROTC drill team for earning 5th place overall out of 13 competing units in Area 19, with top finishes in several categories. Key highlights from the meet include:
Academic Excellence: Ranked as the #1 academic contender in Area 19.
Personnel Inspection: 2nd place overall — demonstrating outstanding military bearing, uniform appearance, and professionalism.
Unarmed Basic Drill: 2nd place overall, led by Cadet Ensign Codie Gallen, who earned #1 Commander in this category.
Armed Basic Drill: 3rd place overall — a significant improvement from past years. Cadet Chief Petty Officer Shreenidhi Kamisetty earned 3rd place Commander in her first armed drill competition.
These results reflect the tremendous effort and preparation our cadets have invested over the past few months. Their progress is a testament to their resilience, teamwork, and the strong culture of excellence within the program.

SB12 update for Health Services effective 10/6
Details can be found @ https://www.friscoisd.org/departments/health-services/routine-health-services-consent Senate Bill 12, which became effective law on September 1, 2025 requires school districts to seek parental consent from parents for health services provided to students. After receiving clarification from the Texas Education Agency (TEA), school districts can seek parental consent under Senate Bill 12 through a selective opt-out option. This means that moving forward, parental consent for routine services is presumed unless a parent chooses to opt-out of a particular routine health services offered by the school district. Parents can view their consent status for Physical Health Services and Mental Health Services in the Home Access Center. Access the HAC Help page. Please reach out to ISRegistration@friscoisd.org if you have any questions about how to view the status.
...in a nutshell, moving forward, parental consent for routine services is presumed unless a parent chooses to opt-out of a particular routine health service offered by the school district.
