JAMISON SOARS
Today, Jamison Elementary School had our kickoff assembly for our school fundraiser and formally introduced our SOAR theme for the year. Students participated in games and saw examples of Service, Ownership, Attitude, and Respect, all the words that make up our theme of SOAR. Through their participation in the games, students earned a school-wide extra recess. Please look forward to information coming home over the next few weeks with details about our JAMISON JOURNEY fundraiser.

Students: Create a Design for CBSD's Lock Screen for All to See!
During the 2024-2025 school year, CBSD invites students to draw inspiration from CBSD's "Portrait of a Graduate" to create an original design to display on the lock screens of district laptops and ClearTouch panels. The winning artwork will be featured on CBSD screens each month for all students, faculty and staff to see! The winning student artist will also receive a prize. Students can submit their designs based on each month's Portrait of a Graduate theme. Submissions are due on the 20th of each month. More details and how to submit.
Create a Meal Payment Account for Your Student on MySchoolBucks
CBSD utilizes the online platform MySchoolBucks for school meal payments, making it easy to oversee a child's meal choices and maintain their account balance. It is important that an account is created for every student, regardless of whether they take part in school meals or not. You can access MySchoolBucks to view and/or set up an account for your student(s) here. To set up an account, you will need your child(ren)'s student identification number(s), which can be found in the Parent Portal.
Regular School Attendance is Critical for Student Success and Well-Being
As we begin the 2024-25 school year, CBSD wishes to remind families of important information regarding attendance. Pennsylvania's school laws, like Act 138 of 2016 and the updated Act 16, outline what is required for mandatory school attendance and procedures to follow when students are absent or late. Learn more
Information on Title IX
The 2024 Title IX regulations enhance protections against sexual harassment and gender identity discrimination. CBSD is dedicated to ensuring an environment free from discrimination due to race, age, religion, sex, gender identity, disability and any other classification protected by state or federal law. We uphold Title IX, prohibiting sex-based discrimination and harassment. Updated Title IX regulations, approved in the summer of 2024, emphasize stronger protections for students, particularly regarding sexual harassment and gender identity discrimination. Parents and guardians with inquiries should contact their building principal or Alyssa Wright, Title IX coordinator, at 267-893-2060 or alwright@cbsd.org. More informationCOMMUNITY EVENTS AND FLYERS
Central Bucks School District will be moving away from individual schools promoting activities/events for outside organizations. All community events and flyers will be published through the Central Bucks School District website's E-Flyer Folder. Individual schools will only post for activities run by other CB schools.

In anticipation of the grade level realignment for the 2026-2027 school year, the district extends an open invitation to parents, guardians, students, and community members to provide their questions and feedback here. We greatly value your input as it plays a vital role in our decision-making process, ensuring that our choices are in the best interest of our entire community.
