A note from the principal
Hardy Families,
It is hard to believe we are already approaching the end of our first nine weeks of school! This is an important time to celebrate how much our students have grown while also reflecting on the areas where we can continue to improve. We are so proud of the hard work our Wildkats have shown, and we appreciate the support you provide at home each day.
As we close out the nine weeks, please continue to encourage your child to come to school every day, give their best effort, and finish the grading period strong. Every day of instruction matters, and consistent attendance helps our students stay connected to their learning and continue making progress.
Please also remember that Parent Conferences will be held on October 13 from 1:00–4:00 PM. Teachers will be reaching out to schedule conferences with families. Our goal is to meet in person so we can celebrate your child’s successes, review their progress from the first nine weeks, and work together to set goals for the next grading period.
As we wrap up these first nine weeks, we hope all of our Hardy families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Fall Break, October 12–16! We hope this time gives your family an opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and make some special memories. We look forward to welcoming our Wildkats back refreshed and ready for another great nine weeks of learning and growth!
Thank you for your continued partnership and for trusting us with your children each day. We are grateful for our Hardy families and all you do to support our students and school.
Together, we will continue Growing Greatness, Rooted in Excellence! 🌱💚
With appreciation,
Mrs. Fossler
Principal, CC Hardy Elementary
When visiting Hardy
Hardy Visitors Always bring your valid physical ID. No photos or copies will be accepted.
Have your ID ready at the door.
Our top priority is keeping your child safe while at school. To help with this, here are the procedures for entering the front office:
All campus doors stay locked at all times.
To come inside, please ring the doorbell located on the right side of the front center doors.
When a staff member answers, they will ask the reason for your visit and request that you show your valid ID to the camera.
After your information is verified, you will be buzzed into the front vestibule.
Please do not hold the door open for anyone else. Everyone must follow these same steps.
Once inside, please check in at a Raptor Kiosk or with our friendly front office staff.
Thank you for helping us keep CC Hardy safe!
Raptor Safe App
We are excited to announce that WISD has adopted the Raptor Safe mobile app as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing school safety and streamlining visitor management in our schools. This app builds on our existing visitor procedures, offering a more convenient and secure check-in process for everyone.
What is the Raptor Safe App?
The Raptor Safe app offers a convenient and secure way for visitors to manage and verify their identity before arriving at a school. With the Raptor Passport feature, visitors can pre-verify their identity, allowing for a seamless sign-in process when they arrive on campus.
How Does It Work?
When visiting a school, visitors can use their secure QR code generated by the app to expedite the check-in process. QR codes automatically regenerate every 5 minutes to ensure security and prevent misuse.
Getting Started
The Raptor Safe app is available to all visitors across the district. To download the app, please visit

Free & Reduced Lunch Information/Información sobre almuerzos gratis y reducidos
As a part of the National School Lunch Program, some students may be eligible for a free or reduced-price lunch. All families wishing to receive free or reduced meals must complete a new application each school year. If the family received assistance in the previous year, it will continue for the first 30 operating days into the new year. The fastest way to apply for free or reduced-price meals is by completing an online application, found at www.schoolcafe.com/willisisd. Paper applications can take up to 10 days to process. After the application has been processed, the family will receive a notice stating the benefits for which the family is eligible. If a paper application is needed, it can be picked up at any school office, cafeteria, or at the Child Nutrition office.
If printing an application, the original application may be mailed to the Child Nutrition Office at 612 N. Campbell, Willis, TX 77378 OR sent to your child’s school to be turned into the Child Nutrition Office. You may also email the application to the Child Nutrition Secretary, Mandy Chance, at mchance@willisisd.org.

This way, when something comes up, you can have your account already made. Also, you can create a parent passport to making your wait time shorter for check-in for events for the campus. This allows you to scan your driver's license and keep to scan in with a qr code.
