Principals Message
Exam Season
As our year 11 and year 13 students approach the final stretch their current academy phase, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work and dedication they have shown over their time with us at OAE.
The upcoming exams are a significant milestone, and I have every confidence that they are ready to meet this challenge head-on.
This is an opportunity for them to showcase the knowledge, skills, and resilience they've developed. Whilst exams can be stressful, it is important to remember that preparation, a positive mindset, and consistent effort make all the difference.
My advice to your child is that they get plenty of rest, stay focused, and believe in themselves. With the support of the whole academy community, they have already achieved so much, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.
We wish them all good luck and thank you, as parents for your continuous support.
Warm regards
Mrs Robinson
Principal
VE Day at OAE
On Thursday the 8th May 2025, we marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day with meaningful activities. During form time, students learnt about the significance of Victory in Europe Day and reflected on the sacrifices made for peace.
We also marked the occasion with a two minute reflection at12pm, along with the rest of the country.
At lunchtime, students took part in writing thank you messages and messages of peace.
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make this a thoughtful and memorable celebration.
Year 8 Students Take Part in Virtual BT Work Ready Bootcamp
On Thursday 1st May, our year 8 students took part in an exciting virtual BT Work Ready Bootcamp, a unique opportunity to explore the world of work and build essential skills for the future.
The session aimed to encourage students to reflect on the skills they are developing in school, such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and adaptability, and understand why these are so valuable in the workplace. Students were guided through interactive activities that helped them make connections between what they learn in lessons and how those skills are used in real-world job roles.
A key part of the bootcamp was raising awareness of career opportunities available locally, especially in the rapidly growing digital and technology sectors. Students explored both digital and human skills—including digital literacy, emotional intelligence, and resilience—highlighting the importance of developing a well-rounded skillset in order to thrive in today’s evolving job market.
We are proud of how engaged and thoughtful our year 8 students were throughout the session, and we hope this experience has inspired them to think positively and ambitiously about their future pathways
Year 10 Hamilton Performance
Our Year 10 students have been rehearsing for their Hamilton performance. They will perform at a local Primary school and in then a live showcase to parents in the Academy on Thursday!
Enfield Youth Council
As an Enfield youth council member at Oasis Academy Enfield, I'm asking Young People aged from 11-19, along with people aged 11-25 with special needs and disabilities and parent/carers in Enfield to fill out this survey and have your say in shaping the Youth services which affect us.
The more responses we get, the better our Enfield Youth Workers can reflect and change.
Thank you,
-Sultan, Enfield Youth Council
Nut Free Academy
Please be reminded that under no circumstances should nuts or any food containing nuts be bought into the academy.
The academy is a nut free school, and we have students with severe life-threatening nut allergies.
Attendance
The Academy attendance target is 96%. We are currently at 92.3%. Your support in ensuring that you child attends school everyday is essential in securing success for them. Every day missed, means that opportunities to learn are missed and the chance of success is reduced.

School Policies - Our Expectations and Standards
Uniform
Students are expected to attend the Academy in full school uniform each day.
Students are expected to wear blazers every day, even in the summer term. We assess the temperature on a daily basis and will inform parents by text if blazers are not to be worn that day.
Students will be rewarded with L points for consistently meeting our high standards and C points if they are choosing to persistently fail to meet our high standards. If your child has a uniform issue, please contact the Academy via info@oasisenfield.org and we will support them to be dressed correctly each day. Students get the opportunity to borrow items from our uniform shop, each day, to ensure that they start the day well. This is located in the Oasis Community Space on the A floor and is open from 8am - 8.20am each day.
Full uniform details are found on our website:
Community Expectations
At OAE we embody our expectations in everything we do. We do this through our behaviours and attitudes, modelling to the young people at OAE and expecting to see the same high standards from them.

Our Ethos at Oasis Academy Enfield
Our ethos is rooted in what we believe and who we are. Grounded in our story, it is an expression of our character; a set of values that inform and provide the lens on everything we do.
- A passion to include
- A desire to treat people equally respecting differences
- A commitment to healthy, open relationships
- A deep sense of hope that things can change and be transformed
- A sense of perseverance to keep going for the long haul
It is these ethos values that we want to be known for and to live by. We are committed to a model of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope, and perseverance throughout all the aspects of the life and culture of every Oasis Hub and academy community.
We encourage every member of our family, be that staff or student, to align themselves to these ethos values. The values themselves are inspired by the life, message and example of Jesus but we make it clear that we will not impose on anyone, the beliefs that underpin our ethos values. We recognise and celebrate the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to our community, respecting the beliefs and practices of other faiths in the hope that we will provide a welcoming environment for all.
