• Thursday, 18th - EST at 2:15 in Ry's rm

• Open House on September 18th at 5:00pm - everyone is expected to be here for open house, in exchange for your time, while not equal, there is no Best Practice meeting on September 15th.

• Friday, 19th - 7th grade canoe trip

• Monday, 22nd - 9am SST, Best Practice meeting in Sarah Magoon’s room
• Tuesday, 23rd - Matt Young's birthday - text him!
• Monday, 29th - 9am SST, Best Practice meeting in Stephanie Zuccarello's room

We have had such a positive start to the school year, it feels really exciting. I have received feedback that teachers prefer the SMORE set up rather than the Happenings doc, so here it is! I truly appreciate feedback on what works for everyone. On that note, I have also received feedback on kid talk meetings that there are too many adults making them inefficient, therefore here is the schedule of required meetings and who attends them. Please be sure to discuss as a team how many days in addition to the kid talk meeting you want to meet. I know it is a balance of middle school philosophy and ensuring you all have the ability to breathe and plan.

My newsletter to the community last week reiterated expectations to parents about student behavior. Please be sure you are teaching the expectations to all students. There is no Best Practice because it is a union week being the first Monday of the month.

YouTube is blocked by Securly and unfortunately when a Google search finds a YouTube video, it triggers a Securly error. This can be avoided by adding "-youtube" to the end of the search text (i.e. monkeys -youtube)
