Good Morning Memorial Families,

I hope that you had a great weekend. My children and I have a tradition of driving out to the Yankee Candle Village in Deerfield every year at Christmastime. Even my college-aged son still looks forward to the trip each year. We love using this trip to pick out new ornaments for one another and some last minute gifts for people. We also just love walking through the rooms with all of the Christmas displays. While there on Saturday, I realized that this tradition with my kids is now 16 years old. While life with my children during the holidays has changed so much over the past 16 years, I am truly grateful to still have our family traditions that we commit to each year. I hope that whatever it is that your family loves to do to celebrate the season, that you are able to enjoy it together over the next few weeks.

As a reminder, we have an early release on Friday ahead of vacation. We will begin dismissing students at 12:00pm. Please do not arrive in the parent pick up line before 11:45am. I wish everyone a wonderful vacation, Happy Holidays, and a very Happy New Year. We will see everyone back at school on January 2nd, 2025.

Warmly,

Wendy
