Safety Concerns
There are a few important concerns that have been brought to my attention that I would like to address:
β’ Please do not park on Kinloch Street during dismissal.
We are noticing an increase in cars stopping or parking along the street during this time, and it is creating a serious safety concern for our students and staff. When cars are parked along Kinloch Street, visibility becomes limited, students have a harder time crossing safely, and traffic flow is disrupted.
β’ There are NO LEFT TURNS allowed when exiting our parking lot.
All vehicles must make a right turn to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.
β’ Do not bypass other cars waiting in line on Timber Trail.
Passing cars in line places you in the oncoming traffic lane and creates a significant safety hazard.
β’ Children may not be dropped off on Timber Trail or on Kinloch Street.
All student drop-offs must occur in the designated areas to ensure safety.
For the safety of all children, we ask that families use the designated pick-up areas and follow the established arrival and dismissal procedures. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient environment for everyone. Thank you for your continued partnership and attention to these important safety expectations.
Thank you for your attention to this important safety matter and for supporting a smooth dismissal process.
Please keep toys at home

Creating a kind and respectful community π
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As part of our ongoing effort to build a kind, respectful, and inclusive community, we encourage you to take a moment to talk with your child about the importance of treating everyone with understanding and acceptance.
Please remind them that our differencesβwhether in background, appearance, ability, or beliefsβmake our community stronger and more vibrant. A kind word, a welcoming gesture, and a respectful attitude can go a long way in helping everyone feel valued and supported.
Thank you for partnering with us in nurturing empathy, respect, and inclusion in all that we do.
From the Desk of Nurse Maddy:
Stay Healthy This Cold & Flu Season!
Cold and flu season is here, and we want to keep our students feeling their best! Please help us by keeping your child home if they are not feeling well, especially if they have a fever, cough, sore throat, or upset stomach. Children should be fever-free for at least 24 hours (without medicine) before coming back to school. Thank you for helping us keep our classrooms happy, healthy, and full of learning this season!
Car Line Reminder!
AFor everyoneβs safety and to help arrival run smoothly, please remain in the designated car line at all times. The inner lane should only be used if you are parking your vehicle.
** During dismissal, please do not park along the side of Kinloch, as this creates unsafe conditions for students and families. Your cooperation helps keep everyone in the safest possible environment.
A few tips to make arrival quicker and smoother:
-
Please make sure youβve said your goodbyes before reaching the drop-off area.
-
Have your child ready with their backpack when a staff member or safety opens the door.
-
For everyoneβs safety, please refrain from using your phone while in the car line so we can all stay alert and move up safely when itβs time.
Thank you for your patience and continued support in keeping our students safe!

Birthday Treats/ Celebrations πππ
If you are planning on your child celebrating their birthday in class, we kindly ask that you choose one special treat to provide for your child on their special day. We encourage you to keep treats small and easy to share or enjoy individually. Please remember that classroom celebrations are meant to focus on recognizing our students and creating joyful memories together. Keep in mind that this is a nut-free school, so do not send in nuts of any kind.
I-Chat
Please ensure your I-Chat is completed yearly and up to date with our office. It does take a few days to process so keep that in mind when planning ahead for volunteering opportunities!
