11/3/2025

Good Morning Memorial Families,

I hope that everyone enjoyed the weekend. We had a terrific day on Friday before sending your kids home for all of the Halloween festivities. Our students dressed in their pjs (and so did all of the staff), and we held our second annual cardboard creation day. There were robots, castles, cars, space ships, and many, many forts built throughout the morning. We could not have pulled it off without the help of all of the parent volunteers who helped us cut tape, cut cardboard, and clean up the messes after the kids were finished. It was so much fun!

Thanks to the amazing fundraising efforts of the PTO, the students earned a Mad Science assembly, and that has been scheduled for November 26th, the half day before Thanksgiving. We are excited to see Science come to life, and I want to thank the PTO for providing this fun and educational reward for the students.

Please see the flier below about our upcoming literacy night. Mrs. Hagen and a team of teachers have been working hard to make this year's night even better than last year. The glow room is returning by popular demand, and we are excited to have some therapy dogs coming. Your kids will also have a chance to adopt a stuffed pet of their own. Please plan on joining us that evening at don't forget to RSVP using the link in the flier.

Our classroom and specialist newsletters are all updated for November. Be sure to click the link below to access all the latest news, including Mrs. Hagen's information on literacy.

Have a terrific week!

Warmly,

Wendy
