Dear Families,

As we approach our upcoming testing week from December 8–12, we want to ensure every student feels calm, confident, and ready to shine. Please help your child prepare by making sure they get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and arrive to school on time each day.

Remind them that the most important thing is simply to try their best. We are proud of their hard work and growth, and we know they will do great!

What is iReady? What is iReady?

iReady is an online learning program developed that provides diagnostic assessments and personalized instruction in reading and mathematics for students. It consists of two main components: a diagnostic test that adjusts to each student's needs and provides data for teachers, and personalized lessons based on the diagnostic results to help students work at their own level.

This week students will be completing the diagnostic portion of iReady.

Diagnostic Assessment: Students take the assessment in reading and math, three times a year (fall, winter, and spring). The questions get harder or easier based on the student's answers, which helps the program pinpoint specific skill levels.

Testing suggestions: sleep well, have a healthy breakfast, and arrive to school on time.

WALKERS WALKERS

We understand that older siblings may need to walk our kiddos home. Please be sure your child's teacher is aware of this arrangement. We have a new form to be completed by parents/guardians of students that are walked home by siblings that are under 18 years of age. Once the teacher is made aware, we will send home the form.

Construction is taking place at the front entrance. Please be careful and stay clear of the constuction zone.
