FT Career Advisors Connection Session Followup
For those who missed the FT Career Advisors connection session recently, attached is the handout we used during our team building recently, and HERE is a 3-minute Loom video explaining the concept of what to reflect on and with the handout. We will be scheduling a follow up session with Tami soon for our Career Advisors.

Hello Francis Tuttle!
To help keep our systems secure and up-to-date, IT Services has recently updated to a new WiFi certificate as the old WiFi certificate was expiring. This change has unfortunately led to an issue for all Windows laptop/notebook/tablet devices that are domain-joined. Because of the change you will NOT be able to connect to the “FT Private” WiFi access point on any campus.
What this means for you:
If you cannot connect to the FT Private access point, you cannot access your home network folder from your mobile device.
What you need to do:
You will need check to see if your Windows laptop/notebook/tablet device is domain-joined by going to Start Menu | Settings | System | About & scroll down to find the “Full device name” that will show “<device_name>.francistuttle.edu” indicating it needs a manual fix performed by IT Services.
Verify if your device is domain joined using the information above. If it is, you can take your device to your campus’ ITS office for a 5-minute fix.
- NOT domain joined - the device name does NOT have the “francistuttle.edu” on the end of it
- No action is needed on your device. Please delete this email.
- YES - the device name does have the “francistuttle.edu” on the end of the “<device_name>.”
- Danforth - coordinate updating your device with the technician (Alan Zeiler) assigned to your campus.
- Portland - coordinate updating your device with the technician (Michelle Pickard) assigned to your campus.
- Reno - coordinate updating your device with the technician (Patrick Money) assigned to your campus.
- Rockwell Campus - Please bring your device to the IT Services Helpdesk at Rockwell or coordinate with your assigned technician.
- OR
- Submit a request to ITS.Support@francistuttle.edu, and your assigned technician will work with you to fix your device.

With all of the weather related power issues, some desk phones may not be fully connected to the Teams cloud server and may not be ringing when you get a call. A quick reboot of the phone will fix the issue.
In many newer office installs your desktop computer is sharing the data circuit with the phone (phone has 2 data cables connected on the back). When the phone is rebooted, you computer will lose network connectivity for a brief period. You should save all open documents before rebooting your phone. You may need to close some web based applications / and login after phone reboot.
To Reboot Yealink Teams Phone:
Tap the TEAMS button to get back to home screen.
Tap your picture icon
Select SETTINGS.
Scroll to very bottom and select DEVICE SETTINGS
REBOOT is the 10th option.
Tap REBOOT on the left, then again on top-right and then OK.
If this doesn’t fix your issue reply to this email with the description of the issues.
