Celebrate National 4-H Week: October 4–10
Thursday, October 8: Thankful Thursday
On Thursday of National 4-H Week, help us shine a light on all the good that 4-H does! A day to recognize all 4-H'ers who are doing good and making positive impact by helping their communities and beyond.
Share your own story or celebrate someone who is making a difference - another 4-H'er, volunteer or educator We want to know, on Thursday, October 8th and use #4HBeyondReady
National 4-H Week is October 4–10, and this year’s theme is Beyond Ready! Join Cass County 4-H as we celebrate the youth, volunteers, families, and communities that make 4-H such a meaningful part of growing up. Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing daily celebrations on our Facebook page, highlighting 4-H spirit, memories, community impact, and the many ways 4-H helps young people learn, grow, and prepare for their futures. Follow along, join in the fun, and help us spread the word about all the great things happening in 4-H. Once a 4-H’er, always a 4-H’er!
Building A Future
While Beyond Ready is the overarching theme, at a state level, we have designated one day (Wednesday) as 4-H Building Day - focused on sharing how a renovated 4-H Building will prepare youth for their futures in new ways - Wednesday, October 7 Building a Future (4-H Building Day)
The 4-H Building campaign, why a renovated 4-H Building at the Minnesota State Fair will help prepare youth for their futures in new ways including learning zones and summer camps. 4-H Building campaign promo video - short version.

NE 4-H Cloverbud Club and Clover+ Club – 4-H Superheroes
All Youth in Grandes K-5 are Invited!
Let’s kick off the new year with the NE 4-H Cloverbud Club with a bang! Youth in grades K–2 and grades 3-5 are invited to explore what 4-H is through hands‑on activities as we create 4-H Superheroes! In Cass County we are highlighting the "what's next" and having a Clover+ Club too for youth in grades 3-5. The Pathway from Cloverbud --> Clover+
All youth in Grades K-5 will meet at the same time and same place. So bring the Family! :)
Youth will learn about what 4-H is and then create their very own paper‑bag Superhero. Youth will create their own superhero to include special “powers” that match 4-H. Kids will explore the four H’s Head, Heart, Hands, and Health and design superhero powers that match each one. It’s a great way to build confidence, creativity, and belonging in 4‑H.
This session is designed to help young learners build confidence, practice public speaking, and express themselves through art — all in a welcoming, playful environment.
Meeting Details:
Date: Saturday October 24, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

🐶 Interested in Learning More?
Complete the PAL Interest Form by October 26!

Nominate a Youth Program Facilitator
