PSAT Wednesday, October 7, 2026!!! Alternate Schedule!!!
We are administering the PSAT/NMSQT to all 10th grade students and some 11th grade students on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. There will be an altered bell schedule with a testing block for all students taking the test and an alternative activity for all other students. If your student is taking the PSAT, you and your student will receive an email from the testing coordinator with their testing location listed. Please be sure your student has a FULLY CHARGED, DISTRICT CHROMEBOOK AND CHARGER the day of the test. Also, all additional devices, such as smartphones, smart watches, META glasses, tablets and other laptops will NOT be permitted and cause your student's test to be invalidated.
- For more information regarding the PSAT, please click this link.
The remaining 11th and 12th graders will be in an alternate activity in the theatre. Attendance will be taken when they arrive at their 7th period class.

Attendance will be taken throughout the day. This is a day that we expect all 9th graders to attend! This is not a day off for 9th grade.
PARENTS AND STUDENTS... PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR YOUR 9TH GRADE WORKSHOP ASSIGNMENTS AND CLASSROOM ROTATION!!!
Early Release on Wednesday, October 7?
Generally, we have a large number of parents that will pick up their student for Early Release, immediately following the test, which creates a HUGE backlog and long waits.
If you are planning an early release of your student on Wednesday, 10/7/26, following the PSAT Block, please complete this form and expect a confirmation call from our secretarial team. Once confirmed, your student's pass will be available in Minga at the time agreed upon, 1:00pm or later. I will close this form at 10am on Wednesday morning, however, the sooner you do this, the better!
Please know that we will NOT call into classes to release students until ALL students have finished testing, 1:00pm or later.

Activities This Week!!!
DECA Kickoff!!
Our annual DECA Kickoff was a great way to officially begin another exciting year for Wellington High School DECA! With more than 250 chapter members in attendance, students had the opportunity to learn more about DECA competitions, leadership, business, and the opportunities available throughout the year. The event also gave our members a chance to build camaraderie and connect with other students who share an interest in business and marketing. We incorporated games, activities, and competition information to make the afternoon both educational and fun. Most importantly, students left with a better understanding of what DECA has to offer and how they can get involved. We are excited to see what this group accomplishes this year!
