🐾 This Week at WHS
🧠 Knowledge Bowl Takes 5th at State
WHS Knowledge Bowl placed 5th in the state at Saturday’s 44th Knowledge Bowl State Tournament, its highest finish since 2018 and its third-highest finish ever! The team set a school record earlier this year for its highest score ever at the regional tournament by 11 points.
Help us congratulate this year’s record-breaking team: Dominic Cochran, Cael Ford, Ella Martinez, Nik Mikesell, Neal Nayak, Ben Newman. A huge thank you also to the 15 student and staff volunteers who spent their Saturday helping make this event a success. Your dedication makes events like this possible at WHS!
Wenatchee entered the tournament as a wild-card entrant (after finishing second to Eastmont at regionals), qualified for the playoffs, and then played Eastmont and Hazen HS head-to-head in the semifinal round. Wenatchee finished in second in the semifinal, qualified for the final round against Richland and Kamiakin, and finished in 5th, one point away from 4th!

Thank you, Wenatchee Confluence Rotary Club!
WHS extends its heartfelt thanks to the Wenatchee Confluence Rotary club for its $5,000 donation to support the Panther House! We appreciate your support for the support and services that help WHS students and their families be healthy and successful.
The Panther House provides resources to Wenatchee High School students and families when they need it most. No student should go without the basics they need to be successful. That’s why Wenatchee High School is proud to provide monetary support and resources thanks to the generosity of community partners, like the local Rotary club, and school staff.
WHS students are encouraged to submit a request for food, school supplies, or personal items if their families are unable to obtain resources on their own. Alternatively, if you're interested in donating, please fill out this form or connect with Family Advocate, Gabby Muniz.
💡Things to Know
Panther Achievement Certificates
Last week, we recognized students for their commitment to maintaining excellent attendance and grades this school year! Students who received the highest award - Panther Excellence award - were given a physical certificate, but we want to give all families the opportunity to celebrate their high-achieving student with a certificate.
See below for a full list of students in each grade recognized for excellence in attendance and academic achievement. If your student is on the list and you want to commemorate their success with an official WHS certificate, please fill out the form below. Help us congratulate each of these students for their dedication to making every day at WHS count!
