Jordan is recognized as Student of the Month for his dedication, positivity, and determination to succeed. Jordan enjoys both art and sports, and he is currently working toward his short-term goal of earning straight A’s. Looking ahead, his long-term goal is to attend college and continue pursuing his dreams. His favorite subject is Math because he enjoys the challenge of answering many different questions. Jordan is currently reading New Kid and appreciates stories that inspire him. He credits Mr. Starry as the teacher who inspires him most, remembering his fun, positive attitude and the way he always greeted students with a smile.

Alexa, a 7th grader, is recognized as Student of the Month for her happy, funny, and kind personality. Alexa enjoys participating in band, singing, and running, and she is focused on her short-term goal of finishing 7th grade with good grades. Her long-term dream is to become a movie director and writer. Alexa’s favorite subject is History because she loves learning about the world, and she is currently reading Nimona. She credits her 1st grade teacher, Ms. Snyder, as her greatest inspiration, remembering her kindness and the support she gave that made a lasting impact.
