Can not thank everyone for all that they do but I want to take time for a few shoutouts!

  • Sarah Augustin and Mel Reznicek - Thank you for continuous efforts with our PK students and all the growth that comes from your classroom!

  • Mandy Peterson - Thank you for your dedication to all of our students and putting on a heck of a book fair! It is going to be great to see the rewards given to our students and the classroom libraries filled up!

  • Heather Thompson & Cody Bobolz - Not only do they do their job every day but they are prepping to eat crickets and kissing pigs in all the name of our students.

New Water Fountains

We replaced two of our water fountains located in our front hall on our high school (next to Mr. Bobolz office) and also in our academic center next to our East gym! This will allow our students who use water bottles more options to fill up.

We have purchased two new handicap tables that will allow our students who are in wheelchairs to be right next to there friends!

Message from Mr. Tejkl

"Be you..."

Good evening!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and that your week is off to a great start! I think that I may have glitter coming out of my ears for the next 3 months but it definitely was a great Monday and an awesome way to start the week off!

Simple quote for the week: to change the world, be yourself :). We live in a world where we need more likes and friends on our social media platforms than what we have next to us. We want to try and be what the internet says we should be but in all reality, we need to be ourselves.

The expectations of how we should be because of how we are labeled is silly. Teacher are supposed to be strict. Students are supposed to sit and not say a word all day. Principals are supposed to be in their offices. Superintendents should be quiet and in the distance. These are labels of the world and how one should act or be or perceived to be. The thing is, you choose you and be you. When you trust who you are, when you are kind to others and have fun being who you are; you'll love every day! Breathe, have fun and don't grow up too fast!

Quote of the week to reflect on:

"You change the world by being yourself."

Yoko Ono

Sincerely,

Tucker Tejkl

THANK YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to our change war winners: 2B and Trofholz. Including community donations, we have raised over $4000 to get books into our classrooms, library, and the hands of our students.

Thank you for your overwhelming support! We had multiple business and people contribute to our cause!

EDUbreakout

If Period 3 had 10 more minutes, they would have all solved the case! Let's see if Period 8 has greater speed. P.S. Thank you to the one student who could not let it go unsolved and came in just to finish their group's breakout!

Our Physics class working on their marshmallow catapults. Students had to budget their money to buy supplies for their catapult. They had three attempts to hit a target at 5 meters. They then used a physics app to analyze horizontal and vertical forces and velocity.
