Message from Mr. Tejkl
"Be you..."
Good evening!
I hope everyone had a great weekend and that your week is off to a great start! I think that I may have glitter coming out of my ears for the next 3 months but it definitely was a great Monday and an awesome way to start the week off!
Simple quote for the week: to change the world, be yourself :). We live in a world where we need more likes and friends on our social media platforms than what we have next to us. We want to try and be what the internet says we should be but in all reality, we need to be ourselves.
The expectations of how we should be because of how we are labeled is silly. Teacher are supposed to be strict. Students are supposed to sit and not say a word all day. Principals are supposed to be in their offices. Superintendents should be quiet and in the distance. These are labels of the world and how one should act or be or perceived to be. The thing is, you choose you and be you. When you trust who you are, when you are kind to others and have fun being who you are; you'll love every day! Breathe, have fun and don't grow up too fast!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"You change the world by being yourself."

Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl

Physics!
Our Physics class working on their marshmallow catapults. Students had to budget their money to buy supplies for their catapult. They had three attempts to hit a target at 5 meters. They then used a physics app to analyze horizontal and vertical forces and velocity.
