Afternoon Parents/Guardians,

That’s a wrap on Quarter 2...hard to believe we’re already halfway through the 2025–2026 school year!

Quarter 3 will begin on Monday (or as soon as the weather cooperates and school is in session). With the new quarter comes new specials, so be sure to ask your student what classes they’ll be taking this quarter.

I’d also like to give a quick shout-out to all GBS staff and students for their response to last week’s Secure Campus. Students and staff had an opportunity to briefly discuss the safety protocols in place at GBS as part of our continued efforts to remain prepared for any situation.

Attention 8th Grade Parents: It’s that time of year! We are collecting baby or toddler photos of our GBS 8th graders for the upcoming 8th grade celebration. Please email an electronic copy or stop by the school and we’ll gladly scan it for you. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Ms. Kidd at ekidd@conval.org.

Congratulations to Mr. Cogan and several of his IAT students who presented their learning and projects at the school board meeting on the 20th.
