Way to go to Curtis Malcolm for assisting Mr. Judd! We don't know the details. but Mr. Judd wanted to make sure you were recognized.
Thanks to the students who stepped up to volunteer at the Math Olympics last weekend. (pictured)
Thanks to everyone who bought bracelets, pizzas, and did anything else to support the Iron Giraffe Challenge through Water for South Sudan. We were able to meet the $1000 fundraising goal!
Our Parent and Community Volunteers and Business Partners ROCK! This morning, about 30 of our over 100 volunteers and business partners joined us to be celebrated. Did you know that each volunteer a school or organization uses saves that entity $31.80 per hour? The time they haven given us this year alone equates to just about a quarter million dollars. Our volunteers truly do rock!
Clark was recently named a School of Excellence by the FLDOE and we learned that only 783 schools in the entire state earned this distinction based on excellent, sustained graduation rate, performance on statewide assessments, and taking advanced coursework.
U.S. News rankings were also released this week and though we are just starting to offer AP classes (DE isn't used in their calculations) based on their data, here's how we ranked:
- Nationally:
- Out of 17,655 schools, we ranked #2,838
- Out of 3,022 Charter High Schools, we ranked #399
- Statewide: #166 of 647 ranked high schools
We have some exciting news from the S.P.A.M. Robotics team, (with Clark student Camryn McCarthy) who just returned from world championships in Houston, Texas. Competing against 600 other top teams attending from around the globe, our talented students showcased their skills and hard work, finishing their season in the top 24 out of 4000 worldwide.
If you're interested in technology, teamwork, or just looking for a fun challenge, consider joining. For more information, reach out to Dr. Judd. Get involved and be part of something amazing! Visit our WEBSITE here. View our CALENDAR here.
This is going to be an incredible teacher and staff appreciation week thanks to the generosity of our Clark families. Thanks to all who have signed up for various tasks or sent in gift cards and money.

Poor attendance = loss of Driving privileges in FL- Did you know if you miss a certain percentage of required school time, schools are mandated to report you to the DMV for revocation of your permit or driver’s license. Think about how inconvenient it would be to lose your driving privileges for skipping school. Students/parents have begun receiving warning letters via email. Let's finish out strong and not have any students lose this opportunity.
Spring Exam Schedule attached
Are you driving to campus this semester? If so, you MUST have a Clark parking pass. The forms are in the spinning rack by the front desk. Students are only to park in the yellow lined spaces and never in visitor parking.
