Principal Star Award-Citizenship
Principal Star Award-Citizenship
Dr. Cole would like to congratulate this week's Principal Star Award Recipients. These students always follow the rules (3 R's), are a student who would be considered for most, if not all, the MVP character traits (past, present, and future), and, in addition to that, they consistently go above and beyond expectations every day. These students exhibit these behaviors, daily, in every classroom they are in (Homeroom/Special Ed/Related Arts).
Our winners for September and October are Declan Masino (Kindergarten), Hope Skully (1st Grade), David Velazquez (3rd Grade), and Autumn Baycote (5th Grade). Their teachers wrote the following about them:
-Declan Masino-Declan is a wonderful student and little citizen in Kindergarten! He ALWAYS follows the three R's-Respectful,Responsible,and Ready! He arrives every day with a cheerful smile ready to learn. He is a kind and thoughtful friend to all. He listens to his teachers and is very polite and respectful. He goes above and beyond on his schoolwork and tries very hard. I am very proud of him!
-Hope Scully consistently shows the 3 R's every single day. She is kind, patient, and caring with all of her classmates and is always there to lend a helping hand. She has already shown so much growth and confidence this year for being a brand new student to Reeceville Elementary!
-It is a pleasure to recognize David Velazquez for the Principal’s Star Award. He consistently demonstrates exceptional responsibility, respect, and leadership in all areas of school. David follows directions promptly and carefully, setting a strong example for peers through his positive attitude and cooperative spirit.
What makes David stand out is his ability to lead by example. Whether working independently, collaborating with classmates, or contributing to school activities, he encourages others to stay focused and do their best. David shows that true leadership comes from kindness, respect, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
For consistently following directions, maintaining a positive attitude, and inspiring others through outstanding behavior, David is truly deserving of the Principal’s Star Award.
-Autumn represents the three R's in everything she does. She is respectful to all of her classmates, her teachers, and others. She is kind, empathetic, and helpful. Autumn is responsible for always completing her work, having her things organized, and getting where she needs to be. She has been helping our new student adjust and even wheeling her around from place to place with a smile on her face. She is always ready for the next activity, and helps others be ready as well. Autumn is someone who I can rely on to tell the truth while being neutral in the situation. She is someone who everyone can rely on.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
The staff at the Reeceville Elementary School cordially invites you to attend parent teacher conferences. Conferences will be held on Monday, November 24th from 12:00pm-7:30pm and Tuesday, November 25th from 8:00am-3:30pm. There is no school for the week of November 24-November 28. The purpose of these conferences is to provide you with an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, and to help plan for the remainder of the school year. Please note that the end of the first trimester is November 19, 2025.
We will again be using the on-line scheduling system. Each time slot will be 10-15 minutes in length with the teacher(s) of your choice, and you may schedule to meet with as many teachers as you would like. Please follow the directions on the website for scheduling a conference, scheduling multiple conferences, and/or scheduling multiple children. All conference times will be filled on a first come first served basis. To schedule a conference online, please follow the link below:
