Impact Aid Program Survey Form
We need your help ~ Fill Out Impact Aid Surveys! We Need 100% Participation for additional Revenue!
Impact Aid Program Survey Forms where passed out to students this week at Rogers. Submitting one completed survey for each of your students helps us apply for much needed Federal Impact Aid funding. YES- We need one for each student in the household!!
Every year, Newport Public Schools applies for aid to make up for taxes lost on children whose parents are in the military, employed on a federal property and/or live on a federal property, or civilians employed on federal property. We do this through a federal program established in the 1950’s called the Federal Impact Aid program. The district must participate in the survey each year and provide information to the federal government in the form of a grant application. Your individual family information is kept confidential.
The revenue received directly supports the high-quality education provided to all of our students. To maximize funding, we are striving for a 100% return rate of surveys.
The more families who fill out an Impact Aid survey, the more federal aid Newport Public Schools receive! So please fill out and return Impact Aid surveys! Forms are DUE no later than November 10, 2022. Click to download FORM

Updated Scholarship List - 09/29/22
CLICK HERE for a list of current scholarships!
Many of the scholarships listed are online scholarships. The general rule is if the scholarship listed has a link that means the application is online. If the scholarship on the list does not have an online link then the paper application is in Guidance in the filing cabinet under the "Scholarship" sign! (To the right of Ms. Gorman's desk)
For every scholarship you apply for you will need to fill out a Blue Transcript Request form. Those forms are available in Guidance on the table in front of Ms. Gorman's desk. If you are not able to come to Guidance you can email Ms. Gorman @ joanngorman@npsri.net and she will forward you an electronic fillable form.
