PQ is proud to celebrate their Cultural Celebration Week this week! We'll have assemblies, Spirit Week, and other activities to showcase our many cultures at PQ. Please check out the flyer below.
4th grade band rehearsals will be starting up this month. Please click on the links below for more information. Depending on whether your student is signed up for morning or afternoon sessions, the following are the dates for the first few sessions:
Wednesday Mornings 8:00- 8:50 AM : November 26, December 3, December 10
Thursday Afternoons 3:30 - 4:15 PM : November 13, December 4, December 11

Your student is eligible for Kindergarten in the 2026-27 school year if they turn 5 years old by December 1, 2026.
The 5th Grade Band and the 4th Grade will be having a concert on Tuesday, December 16th at 6:00pm! Please click on the letters below if your student is in 4th grade or in the 5th grade band.
All Grades
This year, all children in the school receive meals at no charge regardless of household income. However, families are strongly encouraged to complete and submit the Free and Reduced-Price application as this form is used to determine eligibility benefits for State and federal funding/programs. 4th grade took their anual field trip to the Institue for American Indian Studies last week.

Community Food Drive
The Student Forum reps have asked the PQ school community to join their efforts to collect as much food as possible.
- Food Collection boxes will be placed in the main office and faculty room as well as the security area for those just dropping things off.
The drive will conclude on Friday, November 21 st .
North Salem "GOAT" Fundraiser
The North Salem Youth Basketball League has launched a fundraiser featuring North Salem GOAT athletic gear! All proceeds will be donated to support the district’s goal of building a high ropes course at PQ. This will be an exciting addition that will benefit students and the entire North Salem community.
Take advantage of this great opportunity to show your school spirit and support a meaningful cause.
