As many of you are aware, our Fourth, Sixth and Seventh grade students had state testing. Our students were calm and tried their best. Parents, thank you for taking the time to speak to your children.

• New York State Testing for Math will take place on April 29th and 30th
• April 28th - our third grade students will be attending Mass at 9:00 am and then will go to confession.
• May 1st - Rosary Rally taking place in the Auditorium
• May 2nd - First Holy Communion

Attendance is a very important part of learning. Our students need to be in school everyday. If they have a doctors appointment, please drop them off afterwards.

If your child is sick, please send in a doctors note, the next day.

At SLCA, homework is given every night. Please ask your child to show you their assignments before they are submitted. Students are expected to complete 90 minutes of iReady every week.

Reading every night is important, please ask your child, what they are reading. If you need books, we have plenty to lend. Just reach out to us.

All of our students, K-8 are expected to be in full uniform, everyday. On gym days, there is a gym uniform.

Students are not permitted to wear sneakers with their uniform. We know it is almost the end of the schoolyear, so if there is any type of issue, please reach out to the office.

• Bake Sales will take place after Mass every Sunday- further information will be sent home shortly
• Mother's Day Sale will take place on May 7th and 8th, 2026
• Spring Show will be on May 21, 2026
• Walkathon May 26, 2026
• Our annual theater production will take place on June 4th and 5th, 2026
• Field Day will take place on June 9th, 2026
• 3K and PreK moving up ceremony is on June 17th, 2026
• Kindergarten graduation will be on June 18, 2026
• No school on June 19, 2026
• Last day of School for PreK and 3K is June 22, 2026
• Last day of school for Grades K to 8 will be on June 23, 2026

As we begin planning for summer camp, we are asking all parents to please complete this form. Click Here: Summer Camp Form. Once we receive the information, we will send home a summer camp packet. Thank you very much.

• All students will be placed in the after school room following dismissal. If students who are picked up before 3:30 pm, parent will not be charged.
• Please ensure to notify the office, if your child needs to stay in after school.
• Students will receive assistance with their homework if needed.
• Students will receive a snack everyday
• Payment is due at the end of each week.

For the past several days, our students have been participating in SLCA "Penny Wars".

Let's just say they are learning new strategies.
