Students Share Perspectives at the SSAC
Dr. McHugh hosted the first Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) meeting of the school year on Thursday, October 9. The SSAC gives student representatives from grades 5–8 a direct connection to the superintendent and an opportunity to share their perspectives. At the first meeting students shared feedback about how instructional technology is used in their classrooms and presented ideas for the future. This year, SSAC meetings are taking place at the district office, the Kindergarten Center, and Hadley Junior High, giving the students the opportunity to explore schools they may not currently attend. Thank you to the SSAC students and their families for their time and dedication to District 41. #WeAreD41
BPAC Fall Family Night
The Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BPAC) hosted its annual Fall Family Night last week at Churchill Elementary, welcoming a wonderful turnout of families from across the district. The evening provided an opportunity for families to connect, learn more about BPAC, and explore ways to get involved in future events. Children also enjoyed fun, fall-themed activities throughout the night. Thank you to all the families, volunteers, and staff who helped make the evening a success!
Annual Hauntcert Halloween Concert Event at Hadley
Hadley Junior High will hold the annual Hauntcert Halloween Concert, featuring the Hadley 8th Grade Band, Hadley 8th Grade Chorus, and Hadley String Orchestra. All District 41 students and families are invited. The Hauntcert will take place on Thursday, October 30 at 7 pm in the Hadley Auditorium, with trick-or-treating prior to the performance at 6:30 pm in Gym B. Costumes and spooky fun are encouraged. Join the Costume Parade while you are there. Thank you to the Hadley Music Department!
