OFFICE NOTES OFFICE NOTES

From Mr. Lytle (Principal)

Congratulations Class of 2025!

We are so proud of our graduating class and cannot wait to celebrate all of the milestones that you will be experiencing this month! Please remember, Seniors, if you have received a scholarship, or have been accepted to a university, trade school, or post-secondary internship program, please report that to your counselor!

From Mrs. Blydenburgh (Assistant Principal/Activities Director)

Fall 2025 Athletics Eligibility Information

High School athletes must maintain a 2.0GPA while passing five classes (four for Seniors) to be eligible for competition. In July, when HS Fall Sports begin (Football, Cheer, XC, Flag Football, and Volleyball), we will be looking at grades from SEMESTER 2 of THIS SCHOOL YEAR. Next year's Sophomores-Seniors must have a 2.0GPA at the culmination of this school year to be eligible to play fall sports. Freshmen receive a probationary period for Quarter 1 - at the end of the 1st quarter, Freshmen are also required to hold a 2.0GPA while passing five classes.

When practices begin in July/August, athletes must have a physical on file AND be Registered on Big Teams/PlanetHS before they can practice. To create an account on BigTeams and follow Redington High School from your phone , text S42654 to 69274 . Sports physicals are good for 18 months; we highly encourage families to get those taken care of over summer break so that athletes are eligible for practice and competition as soon as possible.

From the Counselors and Registrar

It is the time of year to begin thinking about next school year! If your student(s) is attending Redington on a boundary exemption or in the Beryozova Lottery, please take a few minutes to go into your Parent-Vue account and complete the requests for the 2025-2026 school year. Please do so as soon as possible. Completing the request too late could result in the request being denied or wait-listed.

If you have any questions, please call our registrar, Mrs. Karsten, at 907-864-5406.

Seniors!

  • Remember to check your Class of 2025 Google Classroom for updates on scholarships, visits from universities and other post-secondary programs, and information about graduation and other senior activities.
  • The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is open. The FAFSA is the first step in receiving any type of financial aid, including scholarships.
  • Need a transcript? See Mrs. Karsten.
  • All graduating students must bring their Chromebooks to Mr. Conner to have it reassigned. This process must be completed so Chromebooks can be used after graduation. If you do not meet with Mr. Conner to have your Chromebook reassigned, your Chromebook will be disabled by the end of June.
