Red Ribbon Week
Willard will be participating in Red Ribbon Week 2026! During the week of October 26 - 30, students will learn about the dangers of drugs, watch and discuss drug prevention videos, listen to daily announcements about the Red Ribbon Campaign, and take part in our annual Red Ribbon Spirit Week.
Introducing the 2025 Red Ribbon Week Theme: "Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.โข" This year's theme was created by Ava Tackett, a student at Griswold Middle School in Griswold, Connecticut, with guidance from Health Teacher Kristen Butremovic. The theme highlights that choosing to live drug-free is an act of leadership and courage - and that everyday decisions can positively influence peers, families, and communities.
