Dear Lions Family,
Happy Friday! What a great week of learning, teamwork, and Lion pride. Thanks for making our school such a positive place!
The Senior Class is so grateful for everyone who purchased or donated items for the Senior BBQ. Your generosity and support made this event a big success—we couldn’t do it without you! 🎉 A HUGE thank you to our amazing community! 🎉
Just a few events that we have going on this upcoming week!
Monday, October 6th–FFA Mum orders will be delivered.
Tuesday, October 7th–K-8 Fundraiser Cards are due. Have your child turn them in to their teacher on Tuesday morning. All Kindergarten through 8th-grade students were sent home with an envelope to sell K–8 cards for $20 each. The more cards they sell, the more prizes they can earn—and the more funds that will be donated to our school. Proceeds from this fundraiser help cover the cost of student activities such as field trips, assemblies, incentive awards, and more. We truly appreciate your support!
Wednesday, October 8th–Student Council will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive from 2:00-6:00 pm in the school cafeteria. You can click on the link below to schedule an appointment. https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=TuscumbiaHS

Thank you to COMC for helping with fluoride treatments on Monday, October 6!
It's Senior BBQ Day! We appreciate all of the parents who were up early to help.
Big things happening in the Ag Department!
Our shop students have been hard at work building a brand-new Senior BBQ pit—just in time for the big event! Even with a few setbacks along the way, they pushed through and got the job done. Huge shoutout to Bryan Buechter and Logan Nixdorf for leading the charge on this project.
Our Ag 2 students have also been working hard on their individual shop projects—and it’s been incredible to watch their planning and visions come to life. I’m so proud of their dedication and creativity!
Meanwhile, in the greenhouse, our floral students have been diving into landscape design. One student, Abby Glawson, discovered a real passion for the design aspect and has officially launched her SAE in Floral Design. Check out her first piece—absolutely beautiful!
The floral design class also added some stunning fall embellishments to the landscape by the memorial bench of Chesney Rush, making the area shine even brighter.
MUM SALE REMINDER
All mums will be ready for pick-up after school Monday near the greenhouse. FFA members—be sure to pick up your orders and deliver them to your customers. Thank you for supporting our chapter!
Kindergarten is learning about Community Helpers.
They dressed up and wrote about what they want to be when they grow up.
