Required Back-to-School Forms:
This year, we have only two required forms for families to complete. The first (linked below) is our district Student Housing Questionnaire. Only one of these forms is required, per family, and is brief in nature, asking only for housing-related information.
The second form is our Food and Nutrition Application. At North, every student receives free breakfast/lunch. However, every family is still required to complete this form (again, one per family). If you have a child attending a different Everett Public School (EPS), please know that you can submit this form to any school of attendance and it will be counted for your family across all EPS schools.
Student Housing Questionnaire: Please CLICK HERE, this form is used to help identify students who are eligible for support through the Kids in Transition (KIT) program. If you think you may qualify, please make sure to follow the link and fill out this form.
This form can be returned to the North office or emailed back to the KIT office: KIToffice@everettsd.org
Food and Nutrition Application: Please CLICK HERE, It is recommended that all families complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit (CNEEB) Application (formerly the Free/Reduced Meals Application and Household Income Survey).
This form can be returned to the North office or emailed back to the Food and Nutrition department: Foodservices@everettsd.org
School Supplies Reminder:
Please CLICK HERE for our school supplies list, also available on our website. While each of these are needed, we also want our families to know that assistance is available for needed school supplies, including ever-important backpacks.
Should you need assistance in any regard, please contact our office and/or our North Family Support Advocate is Mrs. Angelica Hawkinson (AChristensen2@everettsd.org). Our STARs will receive new Chromebooks this coming Friday (9/4) so an everyday backpack will become standard/needed.
Picture Day is Tuesday, September 8th
i-Ready Testing starts 9/8
Next week, September 8–11, all students will take their i-Ready assessments. These short tests help our teachers understand your child’s learning strengths and how to support them this school year.
How you can help your child prepare:
- Charge Chromebooks Every Night: Students must bring their school Chromebook fully charged to school every day.
- Bring Headphones: If your child has wired headphones, please send them to school. (We will also have headphones available at school if needed).
- Rest & Attendance: Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats breakfast, and arrives to school on time each day.
Testing Days: Tuesday, Sept 8 – Friday, Sept 11
Thank you for your partnership in helping our students succeed!
MySTOP App Available for Everett Transportation
All busses serving North and the Everett Public Schools are now monitored through the MySTOP bus transportation app. MySTOP is a user-friendly mobile application designed to provide real-time information related to bus routes and arrival time, allowing families to monitor the progress of their child's bus to/from school.
Families are encouraged to register for the MyStop app for the 2025/26 school year as a helpful tool for everyday needs and, as needed, monitoring any potential delays. For more information on Everett Public School Transportation, please CLICK HERE to access our webpage.
New Activity Bus Routes for Clubs and Sports
To improve the reliability and consistency of our after-school activity bus service, we have a new approach for the upcoming school year.
Under the plan, each activity bus service area will have designated neighborhood stops. Students who live within the same service area will use the same designated stop each day.
This change is intended to provide several benefits:
- Drivers will follow established routes with predetermined stops, eliminating the need to create new routes each afternoon.
- Families will have a consistent drop-off location and an approximate drop-off time for their students.
- Activity bus routes and schedules will be published on both the district website and each school's website, making it easy for families to find their student's designated stop and expected arrival time.
- Establishing consistent routes will improve our ability to assign a dedicated Durham School Services driver to each activity bus route throughout the school year.
Please view the all the after-school activity bus routes at the following link: https://docushare.everett.k12.wa.us/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-21647 If you need assistance finding the closest neighborhood stop for your student, please click the Let’s Talk link below and submit a question or call the transportation office at 425-385-4144.
As we work to improve the safety, consistency, and reliability of our after-school transportation services. Please let us know if you have any comments or concerns, you can contact us through Let’s Talk by clicking on the link below. https://www.everettsd.org/transportation/submit-a-request
We look forward to providing outstanding transportation services for all students this school year.
