Principal's Update
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for our winter concert and potluck on Wednesday. We had a wonderful turnout, and the kids did a great job. Jackie Hunt is our new music teacher this year, and worked hard to get students ready to put on a show!
As you know, it is very cold out and Braintree students go outdoors in all weather. Students should come to school with appropriate gear. We have a few loaner jackets, hats, and gloves in the office when kids forget, but if your children need clothing for the winter, please let us know in the office. We have new items available.
Students are hard at work around here. Second graders are subtracting using open number lines. Fourth graders are preparing to be consumers as they practice multiple step word problems about money. Fifth and sixth graders are working on research projects with Ms. J, and kindergarteners are stretching out vowel sounds. Report cards will go home on Monday, so keep an eye out for those! Please reach out to your child's teacher or myself with any questions.
We have a lot of events coming up this month before winter break. Please review the Important Dates at the end of the newsletter.
