Dear Third Grade Families,

What a wonderful week we had! Last week, we enjoyed celebrating International Dot Day with our students. It was so much fun watching their imaginations and creativity shine as they explored, created, and expressed themselves through different activities. Our students had a wonderful time, and we loved seeing their enthusiasm and unique ideas!

A friendly reminder that Parent Conferences will take place on October 2nd. Please be sure to sign up using the SignUpGenius link that was sent home in an email. We are excited for the opportunity to meet with you and share how your child is doing as they begin their third grade journey. We look forward to talking with you about their progress, strengths, and goals for the year ahead.

Thank you for your continued support! We are so excited about all that this year has in store for our third graders!

Warmly,
The Third Grade Team

What is Happening in Science/STEM?

Forces Around Us is still the focus in third grade. The students have done a wonderful job exploring forces, time , height and patterns. This week the students will connect their explorations, questions, and curiosities to specific content as to what forces are and how they interact with each other and affect the motion of objects to begin creating their interactive notebook. We will also learn that physics is with us when we play on our playground.
