Hello, Mustang Families!!! We hope your students enjoyed the Walton Art Center's performance of Treasure Island that was held at school this Friday! It was fantastic, and we are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to have a free show performed on our own stage!

Please join us in sending a huge congratulations to the Quiz Bowl team!!! They did a great job on Friday, winning all five games (technically we had six wins because they recorded our bye as a win) and first place in the final round! The kids have gotten better and better all year and are playing with confidence - and clearly they know a lot of stuff. Thanks to the parents (and grandparents) who came as our cheering section; it's always wonderful to have someone there rooting for us. And, big thanks to Mrs.Keen and Ms. Prock for helping to organize and run the tournament and to Mr. Oxford for being one of our moderators.

The CKH theme for the month of April is Finish Strong/Perseverance. The goal is to focus efforts to sustain our CKH culture. This month we are challenging students to work hard and stay determined. We are partnering with you to acknowledge your child’s achievement of goals- big and small! By helping your child develop perseverance now, you can prepare them to learn from their future failures and work hard to achieve future successes. This month, look for opportunities to teach and model the power of perseverance!
