    School Health Screenings

The health office will begin conducting health screenings in mid-October. Screenings will continue over the next couple of months. All school health screenings are required by Massachusetts state law.

Parents/guardians may request that their student not participate in a specific screening. Please email msnurse@kingphilip.org with your student's name and the screening that you wish to opt them out of.

    - Vision

    - SBIRT: Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) is an approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment to people with substance use disorders and those at risk of developing these disorders. The State of Massachusetts mandates that all students in grades 7 and 9 be screened.

    8th Grade Screening

Please contact the health office with any questions or concerns regarding health screenings.
